1. Overview

Battleship Enterprises ("Battleship," "we," "us," or "our") provides custom 3D printing, custom PC builds, self-hosted cloud storage, and game server hosting. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our site or creating an account, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely, hashed — we never see or store your password in plain text). If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from that provider.

Profile & shipping information. You may optionally provide a phone number, bio, and shipping address so we can pre-fill checkout and ship physical orders.

Order & quote information. When you request a quote or place an order — for 3D prints, PC builds, storage, or game servers — we collect the details of that request (specifications, files you upload, budget, use case) so we can fulfill it.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC on our servers — Stripe handles that directly and shares with us only what's needed to confirm and fulfill your order (such as the last 4 digits of your card and payment status).

Technical information. Like most websites, we automatically collect some technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and general usage patterns, primarily to keep the site secure and working correctly.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account, and let you sign in securely (including optional two-factor authentication)
  • To process orders and quote requests, and communicate with you about them
  • To ship physical products (3D prints, PC builds) to the address you provide
  • To provision and manage storage or game server access once those services go live
  • To respond to support requests and questions
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
  • To improve our website and services

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run Battleship Enterprises. Each only receives the information it needs to do its job:

  • Supabase — our database, authentication, and file storage provider. Your account data, orders, quotes, and uploaded files are stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
  • Stripe — our payment processor for orders placed through the shop. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and handles all card data directly.
  • Google & GitHub — optional sign-in providers, only used if you choose to connect your account to one of them.

These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data on our behalf.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use a small number of essential cookies and browser local-storage entries to keep you signed in, remember your theme preference (light/dark mode), and remember that you've acknowledged our cookie notice. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention & Security

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to fulfill orders, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, and optional two-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable measures.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can review and update most of your personal information at any time from your Profile page. You may also:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Disconnect a linked Google or GitHub account
  • Withdraw consent for optional data (like your bio or phone number) by removing it from your profile

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, reach out via the contact form on our About page.
